How do we pay for things that don't have a price? The beautiful things our eyes absorb every day... With years, hours, minutes, seconds? The only currency not coveted... Taken only for granted, spent carelessly.... time.

Summer is ending. Flowers losing their petals with the cold. Soon the trees will follow their ways.
Some days go on and on Others end before you know it. With the mere blink of an eye, Minutes and seconds cruise by your eyes, Pouring out of thin air, Raining out loud. Where does this time go? If only one could scoop it up, And pour it into a cup for later. And drink it up at one's own desire...
Well, more than a month has passed since I have updated this. That all changes today. Life gets busy, and time seems to slip through the cracks of obligation. I'll start this off with some photos from a Fogggggy day.
Well, I made a loaf of bread today from scratch: Amish Sweet Bread. I didnt have loaf pans, but i used Pyrex bowls and it seemed to work out pretty good. The centers were a touch doughy, but totally delicious... one more thing off my list...
I then proceeded to try a new fruit: Red Pummelo
I found it at Trader Joes.
It is like a cross between an orange and a grapefruit. Turns out it is the largest citrus fruit. The rind is VERY spongy and the inside is messy and difficult to eat, but delicious....

Today I began to cross some things off my list. 3 out of 101 things have been completed and many more in progress of happening. :) It's crazy to think that i have to get through 98 more things, but I am still confident that I can do it.
Lovely Lake Michigan <3 I just discovered today that it doesnt even matter what type of mood the groundhog is in or what type of weather it is, because the decision of shadow seeing or not is determined by some old guys 2 weeks previous to the fact. and once again... 6 more weeks of winter. Though, with the beautiful weather today, i wouldnt be surprised if those guys were wrong.

Sometimes the creepy face of the past comes to haunt you... When this happens, Take a breath. Who has breathed that air before you? Who has stared with blaring eyes into the spot now shared in that mirror?
Just a guest on the wall, The mirror has been given eyes. Witnesses of the past, Burned in the glass.
Turn on the light, and forget your worries. Erase the circles that haunt you.
You cool your bedwarm hands down On the broken radiator When you lay them freezing on me I mumble can you wake me later But I don't really want you to stop And you know it so it doesn't stop you You run your hands from my neck To my chest
Crack the shutters open wide I want to bathe you in the light of day And just watch you as the rays Tangle around your face and body I could sit here for hours Finding new ways to be awed each minute 'Cause the daylight seems to want you Just as much as I want you
Its been minutes Its been days, I remember all I will remember Happy lost in your hair And the cold side of the pillow Your hills and valleys Are mapped by my intrepid fingers And in a naked slumberI dream all this again
